Mystic topaz is quite a new gem type, first seen around 1998. It is natural colorless (white) topaz that has been coated, giving it a unique rainbow color effect. It is not a gem type on its own, but rather considered an enhanced or treated colorless topaz.

A briolette Mystic Topaz stone sparkles of deep turquoise and purple hues dangles from sterling silver chain and decorative “frame”. These lightweight earrings are 2 1/4″ long.

Bought these from Amasor a while back and think they are fab! The photo doesn’t even do them any justice. They look larger and so detailed in person. They have a “hip Victorian vibe”!
