Chevron beads were created by glass bead makers in Venice and Murano, Italy toward the end of the 14th century.  Venetian chevron beads are made from glass canes which are shaped using specifically constructed star moulds.

4 Dot for Mah Jongg, Sterling Silver box clasp made with a Mah Jongg tile (1 1/8″ x 7/8″).  The bracelet has Sterling Silver beads between orange and green colored glass Chevron trading beads.  It is 6 3/4″ long.
