Silver Yemenite Design with Garnets

$125.00 Price excludes tax.

The Garnet got its name from the Latin word “garantus” which means seeds, referring to the deep red color of the Pomegranate fruit.

Garnets are January’s birthstone.

The pendant on this necklace was originally one of a pair of earrings, I lost the other one.   It was made by an artist in Israel in Old Jaffa in the Yemenite style.    I was so excited when the idea to make it into a necklace clicked.  Smooth round Garnet beads (4mm) with Sterling Silver spacers are hand-knotted.  The necklace is 18″ and is one of a kind.  A very special piece indeed.
